A small
homestay, kept
by a family.

Paradise is run by Rajesh Kumar Shoor and his son Shivam, out of a first-floor flat in Amritsar's Dream City. We opened in 2026 with an independent three-bedroom flat, two deluxe rooms, and a straightforward idea: give visitors to the Golden City somewhere quiet to come back to.

— Our story

A house that kept getting full.

Rajesh & Shivam Shoor Proprietors · Amritsar

For years, our flat in Dream City was the one relatives stayed in when they came to Amritsar. My cousin's family before a wedding at the Golden Temple. A schoolfriend from Delhi who wanted to see the Wagah ceremony without paying hotel rates. A colleague from Mumbai who needed a week of quiet after his father passed away.

Somewhere along the way we realised the flat was doing more visiting than we were. It seemed a reasonable thing, in 2026, to make it official.

So we did the work: an independent 3 BHK with its own kitchen, lobby and balcony, plus two deluxe rooms for shorter stops. A restaurant downstairs, a pool, a gym. Air-conditioning throughout, hot and cold water at any hour, and power backup so a cut in the neighbourhood never reaches your room.

We answer the phone ourselves. If you want a driver at 4 am to see Harmandir Sahib at first light, one of us will call one. If your child wants a plate of aloo parathas at midnight — the kitchen is not far. That is really all it is.

01 / Space

A private flat, not a hotel floor.

Five keys in total, one family running it. You are not sharing a lobby with a hundred strangers. You will recognise everyone here by day two.

02 / Quiet

Dream City lives up to its name.

Residential lanes, no honking traffic, no late-night wedding halls next door. Ten minutes to the loud parts of town, when you want them.

03 / Care

Everything is on the house, that reasonably can be.

Breakfast. Wi-Fi. Airport pick-up on arrival. A ride to the Golden Temple if we're free. Ask; we're not shy about saying no when we can't.

We serve a thoughtful multi-cuisine menu, featuring traditional Amritsari favourites alongside continental comfort dishes, crafted to suit every palate.

Somewhere in the last decade, hospitality started meaning key cards and complimentary slippers. We think it still means knowing your name by the second morning.
